Michelle Obama may be on the top of every fitness magazine's toned arm list, but back during her senior prom years before becoming First Lady, it was all about her gams.

On Monday's episode of Ellen DeGeneres, Michelle Obama showed viewers via video chat her senior prom photo, where she donned an Angelina Jolie-style dress with a high slit that showed off her leg.

Wearing a metallic gold gown with a low V-neck and high slit, the First Lady sits on a wicker chair with her hands folded with her date, David Upchurch, behind her in a tuxedo. But Obama admitted that dress was quite daring on her part, even for the senior prom at Whitney M. Young High School in Chicago circa 1982.

That split was a little high, Michelle Obama said. I don't know if I'd let my kids go out in a split that high, so let's not show this to Malia and Sasha.

DeGeneres went on to point out the bizarre addition of a wicker chair.

Were you shopping at Pier 1 or something? DeGeneres asked.

You've never done the wicker chair shot? Obama replied. That's standard.

Ellen DeGeneres didn't only bust Obama's chops, but also showed her own prom dress, a head-to-toe plaid frock, that she said was a tablecloth at one point.
