‘The Mick’ Spoilers: Sofia Black-D’Elia’s Onscreen Boyfriend Andy Favreau Returns In Episode 12

Sabrina’s (Sofia Black-D’Elia) boyfriend Kai (Andy Favreau) is returning in Season 1, episode 12 of “The Mick.”

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reveals that Sabrina feels that Kai is becoming a little too much like Jimmy (Scott MacArthur) and plans an intervention.

Kai first appeared in Season 1, episode 3, in which Mickey (Kaitlin Olson) found out that Sabrina wasn’t using any form of birth control while hooking up with Kai. In an attempt to change Sabrina’s mind, Mickey explained to Sabrina how the birth control pill changed the game for women. But Sabrina wasn’t convinced, saying that the pill was “full of chemicals” for her to use.

Mickey also went to the free clinic to pick up a bunch of NuvaRing packs and a few IUDs for Sabrina. But the Pembertons’ eldest child remained unimpressed. When Mickey thought that it was impossible for her to convince Sabrina to use birth control, she tried to ruin Sabrina and Kai’s relationship by seducing the furniture maker. When that didn’t work, Mickey teamed up with Alba (Carla Jimenez) to trick Sabrina into thinking that she’s pregnant.

Surprisingly, that made-up pregnancy didn’t end Sabrina and Kai’s relationship. Instead, it only led Kai to pop the big question, to which Sabrina ecstatically said, “Yes!”

Kai’s spontaneous marriage proposal in episode 3 proved that he really loves Sabrina, so it’s likely that he won’t get offended when she tells him that he’s becoming a lot like Jimmy in episode 12.

Also in the upcoming episode, Mickey teaches Chip (Thomas Barbusca) how to be a “wolf” as opposed to a “sheep” when she learns that he just got scammed by a girl he met online.

“The Mick” Season 1, episode 3, titled “The Wolf,” airs on Tuesday, March 21 at 8:30 p.m. EST on FOX.
