Microsoft Lumia 640/640 XL Contest: How To Meet Lotus F1 Driver At Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2015

With the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL release date nearing close, there is a new offer on the predecessor Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL handsets. Upon purchasing the aforesaid device, potential buyers will get a chance to meet the Lotus F1 driver at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2015. The caveat, however, is that this offer is limited to customers in South Africa.

Any South Africa customers with a subscription to the Cell C network can enter the contest by purchasing the Microsoft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL and win a trip to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2015 to meet Lotus F1 driver and enjoy the race. As it turns out, the grand prize amounts to an equivalent of about $19,000, Phone Arena reported. But then, interested buyers in South Africa should purchase the Lumia devices for Cell C network between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30.

Upon wining the contest, the Lumia owners will get a three night stay in Abu Dhabi free of charge. This prize will reportedly take care of accommodation and meals. In any case, the mini-bar services, along with the phone calls made from the hotel, including that of in-room movies and drinks will not be part in the prize bundle. However, on the second day of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2015 i.e. Nov. 28, the winner will be allowed to meet the prominent Lotus F1 driver Romain Grosjean.

The eligibility criteria to win this offer are three-fold: One, the customer should have a valid passport. Two, the customer should be able to travel between Nov. 26 and Dec. 1, 2015. Three, while purchasing one of Lumia 640 or Lumia 640 XL, the customer should opt for either a 24-month contract with Cell C or the other way is to renew the 24-month contract with the carrier. Upon following the three criteria, any buyer will automatically be enrolled in the contest. Lastly, the lucky draw has apparently been scheduled for Oct. 5.
