October cattle traded higher early in the session to push to the highest level since July 13th. However, a turn sharply lower in grain markets spark long liquidation selling to push the market lower and to near yesterday's lows into the mid-session. Ideas that cash cattle can trade higher this week helped to support the market early and so did the beef market rally but longs took profits early and the market saw increased fund selling into the mid-session. Boxed-beef cut-out values at mid-session came in at $185.08 which was up $.51 from yesterday and up from $179.82 last week at this time.
