Former undisputed world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson plans to share his most in-depth stories and thoughts with fans via videos, photos and storytelling when his one-man Las Vegas show dubbed Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth -- Live on Stage kicks off on April 13th and runs for six nights at the 740-seat MGM Grand Hollywood Theatre, according to reports.

The 45-year-old Tyson has been as iconic a figure, celebrity and athlete as much for his tragedies as his successes: among them, he served three years in prison for rape starting in 1992; he declared bankruptcy in 2003; and his four-year-old daughter Exodus died in 2009. Such examples of pivotal moments of Tyson's life and career, which also includes the infamous bite of Evander Holyfield's ear in 1997, are what Tyson will broach in what the Las Vegas Sun reports a multimedia show that will have him working off of a loose script.

You'll see some interesting stuff, Tyson told the Los Angeles Times. We'll have photos that go along with what I am talking about.

The director and co-writer (with Tyson's wife, Kiki), is L.A.-based playwright Randy Johnson, creator of Elvis the Concert and One Night With Janis Joplin, who told the Times that the show is more of a theater piece than a lecture, along the lines of stage monologue evenings such as Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking and William Shatner's Shatner's World: We All Just Live In It.

After the show's run in Las Vegas is done, Johnson hopes it becomes successful enough to run elsewhere.

We'll review what happened, look at the next steps, and move forward, he said. The hopes for this are to tour the world -- the fan base is staggering.

According to the Sun, tickets for the show, which go on sale at 10 a.m. on March 10 at the MGM Grand box office and through Ticketmaster, will be $91. A VIP package offering front-row seats, a meet-and-greet, a photo with Tyson and some sort of commemorative item (a ticket or a program) will be offered at $499.

The show, which can be a chance for fans to appreciate Tyson's honesty and to change their public perception of him, is a show that Tyson himself sees as an opportunity to metaphorically get naked in front of an audience.

Film of me going to prison will be screened behind me and I will get naked there in front of people, he told The Daily Mail. That's what I call it, being naked with my clothes on. Just telling the truth.
