While Justin Timberlake's real bodyguard deals with the police after allegedly assaulting a cameraman, Mila Kunis will be filling his shoes, well sort-of.

The SNL jokester, 'Motherlover' singer and "Friends With Benefits" star looks like he's taking his acting career very seriously these days. And Kunis surprised everyone during an interview when she responded to a reporter who asked why Justin was acting, not singing. In Russian, the actress said, "Why movies? Why not? What kind of question is that? Why are you here?"

The visibly upset Kunis defended Timberlake as he sat beside her and listened to a delayed translation. Timberlake who looked slightly uncomfortable during the Russian spat, interjected, "This is my bodyguard."

Kunis' reaction to the journalist awarded her laughter from others in the room.

The once-upon-a-time NSYNC front man has three films coming out this year: "Bad Teacher" (June), "Friends With Benefits" (July), and "In Time." The latter of the three is slated to be released Oct. 2011, according to IMDB.

Timberlake has been busy lately promoting his 2011 films, and Timberlake hit the red carpet at Comic Con to promote "In Time," along with co-star Seyfried.

"I'm excited to be here. I'm geekin' out," Timberlake told reporters.
