There have been new developments surrounding the ongoing extra-marital scandal which broke out earlier this week involving Arnold Schwarzenegger and former housekeeper Mildred Patricia Baena.

Shwarzenegger revealed on Monday that he had fathered a child out of wedlock over a decade ago with a member of his household staff. The report published on Tuesday by the L.A. Times eventually led to the discovery of the staff member's identity.

Schwarzenegger's wife, Maria Shriver has also enlisted the services of Laura Wasser a divorce attorney, according to reports on Wednesday. No legal documents have been filed. After the revelation, Shriver asked for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal.

On Wednesday, Shriver was seen with two of her children at an eatery in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the new revelations have not diminished Schwarzenegger's career. He is reportedly pushing ahead production of his kids animated program 'The Governator.' The main character fights crime around the world.

A2's 'Governator' animated series and its lore, is fictional and stands on its merits, said Squared Entertainment CEO Andy Heyward in a statement released to Radar Online.

Of course we wish the family the best in this challenging time, Heyward said.
