Last month, singer Joe Jonas accused two of his fellow Disney alumnae, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, of forcing him to smoke weed as a teen. However, according to the former Disney star Cyrus, Jonas' accusations are far from the truth.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Cyrus, 21, shared her opinions on the controversial comments made by the former Jonas Brothers band member. "If you want to smoke weed, you're going to smoke weed. There's nothing that two little girls are going to get you to do that you don't want to do," said Cyrus, who claims the 24-year-old performer may have fabricated his experience as a teen in an effort to make himself look "badass."

According to the "Adore You" singer, she feels it was impossible she could have forced the older Disney star into smoking the drug. "We were so young that it's actually like, 'How did you get peer pressured by me?'" said Cyrus.

According to the original essay by Jonas, "Joe Jonas: My Life as a Jonas Brother," he was 17 or 18 at the time of the incident, which would make Cyrus and Lovato 14 or 15.

While Cyrus slammed Jonas for his comments, Lovato had nothing but kind words for her former "Camp Rock" co-star, following the release of his New York magazine expose. "Love you brother #familyfriendsforever," the 21-year-old singer tweeted.

According to Jonas, he refrained from using recreational drugs until prompted repeatedly to do so by Cyrus and Lovato. "The first time I smoked weed was with Demi and Miley," Jonas revealed in the magazine, adding, "They kept saying, 'Try it! Try it!' so I gave it a shot and it was alright."

Jonas' reported drug use was not the only shocking information shared by the singer, whose sibling group, the Jonas Brothers, broke up in October following "deep rift within the band." The singer also divulged details about his infamous purity ring and his decision to remove it in favor of a sexual relationship at the age of 20 with "Twilight" actress, Ashley Greene.
