“Wrecking Ball” singer Miley Cyrus is so serious about getting back together with her ex-boyfriend, “Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth, that she’s willing to abstain from Instagram, Hollywood Life wrote in an exclusive report Wednesday. The former child star notoriously post outrageous pictures to her social media page, but has gone silent the past week. She hasn’t posted a scandalous picture since she and Hemsworth reportedly rekindled in Australia last week.

One of the things they fought about when they were together was the amount of time Cyrus, 23, spent on Instagram. “There are certain things that Liam and Miley will never see eye to eye on and one of those is social media. He can’t stand it and she lives for it, but when she’s with him she stays off it to make him happy,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

While it’s not true that Cyrus has completely given up posting updates, she’s definitely reduced the amount and raunchiness. “You can pretty much tell by her Instagram when she’s hanging out with him because her account goes silent. It’s one of their rules, and something she will have to stick to if she wants to keep him happy,” the source said.

Hemsworth, 25, only recently got Twitter and Instagram accounts and rarely uses them. It’s important for him to spend quality time. “He wants her to live in the moment when they’re together and put away her phone. It used to be a huge argument when they were together, but clearly she’s seen the light and knows what’s important to her-- making Liam happy,” the anonymous person revealed.

Other than the change in her social media sharing, Cyrus posed for a picture with Hemsworth's sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky. Pataky, the wife of Hemsworth’s older brother, Chris, posted a picture to Instagram of her partying the Falls Festival in Byron Bay, Australia, on Monday. "I love people I can be crazy with!!" the 39-year-old captioned the image.

It’s been more than two years since Cyrus and Hemsworth were together. The duo called off their engagement right before her hit album, "BANGERZ," dropped in October 2013. The former couple met on the set of the 2010 film, “The Last Song,” which is a love story based on the popular book by Nicholas Sparks.
