A photograph of Miley Cyrus on Twitter with a new band on her ring finger has people wondering whether she made the choice to walk down the aisle to celebrate the New Year.

"The Climb" singer's behavior has been erratic lately, so it wouldn’t be surprising if she and her fiance, actor Liam Hemsworth, decided to elope on a whim.

The celebrity couple has been engaged for a few months, but their relationship appears to be shaky at times, as rumors have indicated the young lovers fight.

Regardless of the stability of their relationship, the latest rumor buzzing through the mill holds Cyrus might have decided to tie the knot with her beau, a star of “The Hunger Games.”

At the end of last year, Cyrus and Hemsworth posted a picture of themselves wearing matching sparkly bands, and it seems the new ring hasn’t left the starlet’s finger since then.

Celebrity-gossip blogger Perez Hilton reported the couple in planning on marrying in June, but speculated they might have decided to get married ahead of time because they found themselves so much in love.

For now, no new news has been aired about the rumor. Instead of Cyrus leaving any hints on her Twitter account about her newest bling, she talked about her new puppy Bean.

“I spot a baby bean,” Cyrus tweeted when she posted the picture that showed her new ring.

“Bean is a little girl :) she is a chihuahua mix of some type :) she brought so much sunshine!!!” she posted Thursday.

Cyrus recently made headlines after she tweeted about the paparazzo who died while attempting to take a picture of Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber.

“Hope this paparazzi/JB accident brings on some changes in '13 Paparazzi are dangerous! Wasn't Princess Di enough of a wake up call?!” she wrote.
