Even though Liam Hemsworth’s pet dog Dora is under the care of Miley Cyrus lately, the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s apple of the eye remains to be her Shetland sheepdog, Emu. In fact, Cyrus just launched a fan club for her favorite pet, while also memorializing her love for late Alaskan Klee Kai, Floyd.

On Wednesday, Cyrus took to Instagram share some snaps of her pets and express her fondness for them. For her first post, she showed off Hemsworth’s rescue dog Dora, who is named after Dora the Explorer. In the caption, the singer-actress revealed that she took the snap in the morning, which she spent with Dora and her other pets in her Malibu residence. She included a string of colorful heart emojis in the caption to express her affection for the canine.

Despite showing some love for Dora, Cyrus’ follow-up post seems to prove her bias toward Emu. The second pic is of Emu who adorably stares at the camera. She then used the hashtag #emufanclub to tease her followers, who are also fond of the shaggy pooch.

An hour later, it appears Cyrus was pleased by the positive comments her fans left on Emu’s snap that she posted her hand-drawn artwork of heart badges. One badge spells out what Emu means for the singer, and it’s “Emotional Manipulation Unit.” Another badge has the Happy Hippie Foundation logo, while the other is for the Emu Fan Club. The fourth badge is extra-special as it pays tribute to Cyrus’ late pet dog, Floyd.

Floyd was Cyrus’ favorite pet dog before her canine companion passed away in 2014. She got the dog in 2011, and the two had been inseparable for almost three years until Floyd passed away due to an unknown reason, according to Gawker. Since Floyd’s passing, Cyrus has been solemnly paying tribute to the deceased dog every year on its birthday, May 5. Last year, Cyrus gushed about her love for her late pet and broke down because she was desperately missing him.

Meanwhile, it seems the “We Can’t Stop” singer has already found the special canine to fill the void Floyd left in her heart. After spending the weekend with her family in a Tennessee farm, Cyrus happily returned home to reunite with ”love.” In another Instagram post, the former Disney actress proudly voiced out her love for her kings, whom she revealed to be the late Elvis Presley and, of course, Emu.
