Derek Jeter is one of baseball's biggest names, and over the course of his career he's locked down some of Hollywood's hottest beauties, knocking them out of the park one by one. And apparently, the baseball player who has a recored of 3,000 hits under his belt chose to spend time with his recent girlfriend Esquire Magazine's 2010 Sexiest Woman Alive Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) over appearing at the All Star Game in Phoenix.

The athlete dated Adriana Lima for a short time in 2006, and although the two were rumored to have had intimate relations, Lima has stated it never went that far.

Jeter then moved on to date one of the music industry's most famous divas: Mariah Carey. From 1997 - 1998, Jeter dated the Hero singer, but it was clear that Jeter wasn't Carey's hero as the couple split. But where does one go after dating one of the world's most sought after super models, then one of the world's most famous singers? To one of the world's hottest actresses, of course.

In 2004, it was rumored that the athlete began dating Jessica Alba for a very short time. And after Jeter dated some of the most famous women in their respective fields, one would think Jeter would have to settle, but not this athlete.

Jeter began dating Jessica Biel in 2006 for a short time, but only after he dated Lara Dutta (Miss Universe 2000), and Vanessa Minnillo (MTV host, currently engaged to Nick Lachey). So although he wasn't dating the crème of the crop any longer (so to speak), we wouldn't go as far as to say that Kelly, Dutta and Minnillo would be considered slumming it.

Post break-up with Biel, Jeter began dating Rachel Uchitel, then Jordana Brewster, and then Joy Enriquez. Two other rumored women from Jeter's past include Scarlett Johansson and Tyra Banks.
