Miranda Kerr on Childbirth Experience: 'I Actually Thought I Was Going to Die'

Miranda Kerr, the Victoria’s Secret supermodel who just have birth to her first son, Flynn, with movie star husband Orlando Bloom, said she thought she was going to die giving birth earlier this year, according to InStyle Austraila.

Flynn, weighed in at nine pounds, 12 ounces and according to Kerr, the “intense” pain she felt for the 27 hours she spent in labor made her fear for the worst.

I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body. I was looking down on myself -- the pain was so intense. I kept thinking: 'How do women do this? But if other women have done this, I can do it too,” she said in the interview.

I was determined, she added

The traumatic experience hasn’t stopped the dashing brunette from loving her baby boy.

We spent every minute together, morning and night, for those weeks before I went back to work. He sleeps in our bed every night,” she said.

In the past Kerr has said breastfeeding has helped her to drop the baby weight and regain her seamless figure.
