Country music star Miranda Lambert and rhythm and blues musician Anderson East are talking about marriage, a source has told E! News.

Thirty-two-year-old Lambert and 28-year-old East, born Michael Cameron Anderson, have been entertaining the thought of taking their relationship to a new level, the source told the publication.

“She wants to get married again and have children soon,” the source said of Lambert, who announced in July last year that she was getting divorced from fellow country star Blake Shelton after four years of marriage.

“That has been an open conversation between her and Anderson. He wants the same,” the source said about the possibility of marriage between the new couple.

Lambert and Anderson were confirmed to be dating in December 2015 after meeting in September of that year at Live on the Green Music Festival in Nashville. Shelton, meanwhile, has been in a relationship with No Doubt vocalist and former fellow “The Voice” judge Gwen Stefani.

“Miranda is very happy with Anderson. They have gotten very close. Her friends think this is the guy for her,” E! News’s source continued.

Regarding Miranda’s feelings about her past marriage, the insider said, “She is completely over Blake and wishes him only the best. It was a time in her life that was special, but she's happy that relationship took her to where she is now.”

“Many lessons were learned in that time with Blake. She hasn't spoken to Blake in a friendship capacity yet, and she is not sure she will ever get back to that point with him. At this point, they have no attachments to each other,” the source said.

Outside of her relationship, Lambert is preparing to release a new, double album, titled “The Weight of These Wings.” The record is slated for release on Nov. 18.

“This new music is very special to her and you will hear some songs that reflect her life and situations she been through over this year,” the insider said. “People will relate. Her vocal chords are rested and she is confident this will be a great tour with no health interruptions like what happen on her last tour.”
