After officially filing for divorce, the split between country singers Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton just became even more real. It turns out that the couple’s first step toward moving on from their four-year marriage was deleting photos of one another from their respective Twitter accounts.

According to Us Weekly, just one day after the couple announced that they’re legally splitting up, things got real when each of them changed their Twitter profile pictures from images of them as a couple to images of them solo.

The 39-year-old “The Voice” judge replaced his cover photo, which was previously a shot of Lambert’s January 2015 Marie Claire cover, with the current shot of him singing under lights to a packed crowd. Meanwhile, 31-year-old Lambert changed her default photo, which once showed her and her soon-to-be ex-husband on the red carpet. Now, it’s a photo promoting her “Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Unplugged Tour.”

The couple is divorcing after a cadre of rumors regarding their marriage hit the press throughout their four years together. While Shelton reportedly filed for divorce on July 6 in Oklahoma, the Twitter photos, along with their joint statement to the press, marks the first tangible way fans have seen the end of their marriage manifest. The couple is splitting amidst a storm of cheating rumors focused around both Shelton and Lambert, the latter of which ties to fellow country singer Chris Young, who recently denied that the affair rumors were true.

According to People Magazine, the split was a long time coming for the couple as their demanding schedules made working on their already ailing marriage a difficult task. With Shelton picking up fame due to his gig as one of the coaches on the hit NBC reality show “The Voice,” his rising star allegedly caused a rift in their relationship.

"He liked [being a celebrity], which isn't a negative thing, but it's just polar opposite to what she wants," a source told the outlet. "It was frustrating, and she didn't want to be part of that machine."

Meanwhile, both continue to deny any and all rumors of infidelity being the cause of their divorce.
