Miranda Lambert is finally ready to embrace the new chapter in life and is said to be enjoying single life, according to a report.

A source told E!News that the country singer is feeling confident and sexy, two months after Lambert and Blake Shelton announced their divorce. The “Little Red Wagon” crooner is reportedly focused on her music, which the source said has been therapeutic for Lambert.

Although the singer has managed to put the past behind her, the insider shared that Lambert plans to enjoy her single life, as well as take her time before starting a new relationship. Still, the country singer is reportedly keeping her options open and believes she would find love again, said the source.

However, for that second chance at love, the E! source revealed that Lambert wants to be “a bit wiser” with her future relationships.

On the subject of families, the source mentioned that Lambert is thankful for the support of her family and friends during the challenging period following her split from Shelton. The Grammy winner is said to be “taking life one day at a time” and is hoping to have her own family someday, only if it’s meant to be, explained the insider.

Love and happiness was also what the “Over You” singer wished for her former husband of four years. The source said that Lambert “simply wants the best for Blake” and for “The Voice” coach to find love again.

Meanwhile, Lambert spent the weekend in Texas for her eighth Annual MuttNation Foundation Cause for the Paws: Back to Basics fundraiser event, People reported. The singer wowed the crowd with an acoustic set, which included hit songs such as “Mama's Broken Heart" and "Gravity's a B----."

Other artists, who joined the fundraiser event, were songwriters Jessi Alexander, Jon Randall and Radney Foster. Country singer Gwen Sebastian also performed during benefit show. Lambert even shared a picture on Instagram which showed Sebastian rocking on stage during the weekend event. She captioned the image, “Watching my bad a-- friend @gwensebastian rock the stage in Luckenbach Texas right now. What a great way to spend a Friday night! #causeforthepaws2015 @muttnationfoundation #girlpower.”

The singer’s mother, Bev Lambert, co-founded the MuttNation Foundation.
