Miranda Lambert was all smiles during a night on the town with close friend and fellow country singer Ashley Monroe on Thursday. Their outing came three weeks after Lambert, 31, and her now ex-husband, Blake Shelton, went public about getting a divorce. Despite the split, the "Automatic" singer appeared to be in good spirits.

According to "Entertainment Tonight," both Lambert and Monroe shared photos from their night out. Monroe, 28, shared a photo of her and Lambert posing at what appears to be a swanky restaurant. She captioned the photo "Date night" and added that she and her superstar bestie were going to "#whoopitup." Lambert reposted the photo and used lyrics from Monroe's hit single "On To Something Good" as the caption.

This is not the first time Lambert has found comfort in her close friend since divorcing Shelton, 39. On July 23, she and Monroe took the stage together in her first post-divorce show. During the concert, which was meant to celebrate the release of Monroe's latest album, the pair performed a duet of "Has Anybody Ever Told You." The performance was filmed and posted on Instagram by Nashville Country Club.

Lambert and Shelton announced their split on July 20. The exes released a joint statement in which they told fans it was "with heavy hearts" that they decided to part ways. At the time the statement was released, Lambert and Shelton's divorce had been finalized. Although they are no longer married, the singers remain cordial. They have exchanged light-hearted banter on Twitter several times since their big announcement.
