Could Miranda Lambert be following in the footsteps of vocalists Alanis Morissette and Joni Mitchell and be writing a break up tune of her very own? That’s what the country crooner, who recently got divorced from Grammy nominated artist Blake Shelton in July, insinuated during an intimate show in Nashville on Tuesday night.

While rocking out with fellow country singers Rae Lynn and Clare Dunn, the blond haired Texan reportedly revealed to audience members that she’s been quite busy the past two weeks writing songs with her friends. Does that mean fans can expect another girl empowering single from Lambert to hit the airwaves soon? We sure hope so!

The artist bolstered our theory when she added that she’s been singing her song “Virginia Bluebell,” a inspirational tune from her 2009 studio album "Revolution," on repeat.

“I’ve been singing this one to myself a lot,” Lambert told the crowd.

This wasn’t the first time the artist, who married Shelton in May 2011, revealed intimate details about her life to her fans. During Lambert’s concert on July 28, the crooner dished to the Nashville stadium that she’s been struggling since the divorce.

"Well, I've been living off of caffeine and sad songs lately," she said. "So, we're gonna drink some caffeine and sing sad songs."

Lambert and Shelton confirmed their split in a public statement on July 20 that said, “It is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.” However, despite their break up, the couple will still be co-headling "We Fest," which will take place in Minnesota. Miranda will hit the stage Aug. 7 while Shelton will get festival goers' feet tapping the following day.
