Eighty-nine stunning world beauty queens are set to flaunt swimsuits and evening gowns, and test their interview skills tonight at the final event of the Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant.

According to online polls, Miss Philippines, Shamcey Supsup, is in the lead, with 2,040,564 votes. The online fan vote has been introduced for the first time to increase fan involvement.

She is followed by Miss Venezuela, Vanessa Goncalves, who has 1,991,597 votes. Miss Mexico, Karín Ontiveros, is in third place with 1,417,112 votes.

The contestants will be judged on the basis of three rounds -- swimsuit, evening gown, and the interview. Miss Universe 2011 will be judged by celebrities from sports, media, and the fashion industry.

The 60th Annual Miss Universe Pageant will be broadcast live from Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo on Sept. 12 at 9 p.m. ET. A live Spanish simulcast will air on the Telemundo Network.
