The four new teasers of “Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation” focus on the stunts in the movie. The videos explain how the stunts were challenging for Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt) to perform.

The first teaser video is of a car chase that involves Ethan and Benji (Simon Pegg) being chased by people on bikes in the narrow streets of a city. In the scene, Ethan has to cross 14 city blocks in a car that has no brakes. Cruise can be seen pulling the hand brakes to control the vehicle.

The second video shows Ethan jumping into 75,000 gallons of water. Cruise is not wearing an oxygen mask for the scene when he jumps in. In a previously released trailer, Benji was seen telling Hunt that he had only two and a half minutes to open the hatch or they are both dead.

The third teaser video is of a motorcycle stunt. The bikes are traveling at speeds up to 120 mph and that Cruise is not wearing a helmet. He also gets a gun pointed at his head.

Perhaps the biggest stunt in “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” is the scene where Cruise hangs on to an Airbus A400M airplane while it takes off. The fourth teaser video shows the actor jumping from the wing of the plane and holding onto the door during takeoff. The plane is traveling at speeds of up to 250 mph and Cruise is not wearing a parachute.

A report by AviationWeek states that the plane stunt has “created quite a buzz.” One reason is that it was not created using CGI and a green screen, and Cruise reportedly performed the dangerous stunt for real in the movie. Airbus has also released a video explaining how the actor did the stunt.

“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who has worked on movies like “Edge of Tomorrow” and “Valkyrie.” The cast also includes Jeremy Renner as William Brandt, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell.
