Missy Elliott hasn't mentioned anything on social media about her getting ready to drop new music, but reports claim the 44-year-old rapper has been secretly filming a music video in Los Angeles. Missy Elliott was caught on video earlier this week wearing a shimmery grey track suit while dancing on the sidewalk in front of a camera.

A song could be heard playing in the background, but it's not exactly clear what track it is. The letters "WTF" were written on the front of Missy Elliott's outfit, leading TMZ to report that the rapper was filming the video for her new song with Pharrell. Watch the video HERE.

Missy Elliott hasn't tweeted about her supposed new video on social media, but she did hint in May that she had collaborated with Pharrell on a song. "@Pharrell hey ‘WTF’ [Fire] They better be ready… it’s outta here," Missy Elliott posted at the time.

It's been known for a few months now that the "Work It" singer was back in the studio recording music. In June Timbaland said during a speech at the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards that her single with Pharrell was due out soon.

"Y'all just don’t know the half about Missy Elliot, but I love my sister to death," he said. "I know the tabloids love to talk, and I’m gonna say it now. Her first single is from my cousin – and yes, we are family – Pharrell.”

Missy Elliott took to Twitter following Timbaland's comments and wrote that the song didn't have a release date yet but she would keep fans "posted."

Pharrell also said he was working with Missy Elliott during an April appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” telling the host that she was a creative "genius."

“The way her mind works, we’re in the studio, and just the things that she says and thinks about… I’m so proud of her," Pharrell said.

Even though Missy Elliott hasn't released an album since "Cookbook" in 2005, the rapper has been staying busy. She's currently a Season 9 mentor on NBC's "The Voice" and is featured on Janet Jackson's new song "Burnitup!"
