Looks like Joss may find herself behind bars once again when “Mistresses” returns from its lengthy hiatus.

According to a promo video for the upcoming Season 4 installment of the hit ABC series, Joss (Jes Macallan) will learn that Reza (Micky Shiloah) is pressing charges against her for assaulting him in Las Vegas. In episode 6, Joss put the moves she learned in her self-defense classes to use when she saw Jonathan’s (Navid Negahban) nephew attacking a young woman.

“Don’t leave me with him!” the scared girl cried to Joss before Reza slammed her into a wall. Joss, who is no stranger to getting manhandled, quickly went into action. She punched Reza in the face before breaking his arm.

In a sneak-peek video for episode 7, titled “Survival of the Fittest,” Harry (Brett Tucket) reveals to his fiancé that Reza is planning on pressing charges against Joss for injuring him. “He’s accusing me of assault? That’s fine. I’ll do the same to him. I’d love to put that thug behind bars,” she responds to the news.

But Harry doesn’t think it’ll be that easy for Joss to prove her innocence — especially because the girl Reza was with the night Joss intervened is standing by her boyfriend’s side. The incident will cause massive tension between Joss and Harry, leaving Joss to wonder if Harry even stood up for her when he spoke to Reza’s uncle.

“Of course I did!” he tells her. “It’s not about Jonathon. In fact, he’s convinced Reza not to do anything until you apologize.”

Joss scoffs at the idea of having to say she’s sorry to an abusive criminal and begins to resent the fact that Harry even brought it up.
