Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, has plans to create The Jackson Three using Michael Jackson's three young children.

Joe, former Jackson Five manager, reportedly intends to launch a music career for the three kids, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II (also known as Blanket).

Now he is talking about getting them the world's best backing band and taking them on tour as The Jackson Three, said Ian Halperin, Michael Jackson's biographer.

Halperin told the Sun newspaper that the singer's father had already offered recording contracts to two of his grandchildren.

The reports come just days after Joe admitted Paris, who spoke at the star's memorial in Los Angeles, had shown potential as an all-round performer.

But the plans are said to have angered other members of Jackson's family.
