Next week on the ABC comedy series "Modern Family," Episode 6 is titled "The Verdict." Gloria Pritchett will be sent on jury duty, while all the other adults in the family are left to deal with the children.

[Warning: Spoiler Alert]

According to the episode synopsis shared by ABC, Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen) will be excited to bring Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Alex (Ariel Winter) to the office for “Bring Your Daughter to Work Day.” However, the office staff won’t be making it easy for her to impress her daughters.

Claire works in her father’s closet company and being the boss’ daughter has never worked out too well for her. She has always been an outsider with the rest of the staff and in the latest episode, she also rubbed the creative department the wrong way when she tried to pitch her own closet design ideas.

Meanwhile, Claire’s husband Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell), will take Luke (Nolan Gould) and Manny’s (Rico Rodriguez) class out for community service day. Jay Pritchett (Ed O’Neill) will also be left with some parenting responsibilities after his wife, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) is called to be on jury duty. Gloria will be excited for the experience, but Jay won’t be too thrilled to help out at the pre-school.

Over at the Tucker-Pritchett household, Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) will be having a difference of opinion over the guest list to a party that they want to throw. With the couple unable to reach a compromise, it will be up to Gloria to mediate.

“Modern Family” Season 7, Episode 6 title “The Verdict” will air on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 9:00 p.m. EDT on ABC.
