The copper market recovered from overnight weakness this morning and has recovered back towards the upper end of last Friday's trading range. The copper market may be finding some support from favorable Chinese demand expectations, which could have been encouraged by a decline in Shanghai copper stocks at the end of last week as well as signs of increased refined copper imports. However, the copper market looks to remain under some pressure from broad based US recession concerns. LME Copper Stocks were 466,450 tons up 2,825 tons.
