February heating oil prices continued the decline Wednesday afternoon and into the overnight and early morning hours, but so far they have held support at $2.6400. There were some players suggesting that heating oil prices was garnering support from recent weather forecasts that have called for extremely cold temperatures in the Northeast for the rest of January. Meanwhile, expectations for this morning's EIA inventory report are for distillate inventories to extend their building trend for the fourth consecutive week with an increase of 1.0 to 1.25 million barrels.
