June heating oil registered a lower low during the early trading hours, perhaps pressured by weakness in Brent crude oil. Some traders suggested that the distillate market appeared to be reconciling the recovery of the downed Ohio refinery late last week, and that has put some pressure on Midwest cash prices. The heating oil market also faces the prospect of well below normal heat-related demand this week, which is also expected to weigh on prices.
