August heating oil prices traded higher during the initial morning hours, helped in part by gains in crude oil as well as a positive macro tone. One source of support for the heating oil market appears to come from data late Tuesday that showed an unexpected decline in distillate inventories last week. This is different than expectations for this morning's EIA data to show a build of around 1.0 million barrels.
