March natural gas prices continued to trade lower during the initial morning hours after Monday's disappointing technical trade. Technicians pointed to the fact that March natural gas established a new five-month high early in the session that was followed by wide range reversal to the downside, and that seemed to reflect a significant shift in sentiment. While the temperature outlook remains cold, the negative tone from Monday seemed to overlook a weather report that called for boost in natural gas demand during the February through April time frame as the US experiences colder than normal temperatures.
