Morning Natural Gas Market Report

Yesterday's negative price action in July natural gas has some traders calling for a near term correction. While the market has embraced a slight tightening in the market from production cuts and a boost in demand coming from coal-to-gas switching, it has become short term overbought and vulnerable to a downside correction. However, some traders viewed the recent string of smaller injections as a positive longer term force that might reduce the chance of exceeding storage capacity later in the fall.
