August Natural gas prices began the Monday evening trade on a weak note but reversed course on a failed attempt at yesterday's high. Some traders were encouraged by the market registering its highest close since May 24th yesterday. Meanwhile, the natural gas market could face pressure as Gulf of Mexico operations come back on line in the wake of Tropical Storm Debby. The Bureau of Ocean Energy estimated that lost natural gas production from the storm was in just above 1.5 bcf per day.
