August natural gas traded lower during the early morning hours, perhaps in reaction to a weak outside market tone and ahead of this morning's EIA storage data. Expectations for this morning's storage report are for an injection of around 25 bcf, smaller than the 87 bcf injection last year and the five year average of 90 bcf. The 6 to 10 day weather maps continue to show normal to above normal temperatures throughout key demand areas in the US, and that is seen supporting air-conditioning demand for natural gas.
