September natural gas prices traded higher during the early morning hours as they tried to correct yesterday's downdraft. It seems that weather forecasts that project below normal temperatures across the upper Midwest to Northeast have reduced air conditioning demand prospects. Tropical Storm Emily is expected to target the east coast of Florida, which reduces the threat of natural gas supply disruptions in the Gulf of Mexico. Expectations for this morning's EIA storage report are for an injection of around 40 bcf.
