October natural gas prices traded higher during the overnight and initial morning hours, pushing to their highest level since August 9th in the process. However, a pullback into negative territory ahead of the US opening had some traders wondering recent 14.5% gain from Monday's low might have come too far too fast. Support for the natural gas market seemed to come on expectations that this week's EIA storage injection would fall short of year ago levels.
