October natural gas took a slightly lower track during the initial morning hours and appeared to correct some of its recent gains. Some traders indicated that expectations for this morning's EIA storage data are for a small injection in the range of 30 bcf, which is quite a bit smaller than last year's increase of 80 bcf and the five-year average 72 bcf. The latest 6 to 10 day weather maps show normal to below normal temperatures, and seemed to offer little support to power-generation demand for natural gas.
