Platinum has come under pressure yet again but has been able to avoid a fresh new low for the move so far this morning. Rising fear of global economic slowing, adverse currency market action and residual concerns of political and economic turmoil in Europe appear to the key negative factors for platinum this week. Unless there are surprise easing hints from Federal Reserve officials during the session, or the US equity markets are able to put together a recovery from early pressure, many traders feel that platinum prices will have difficulty with overcoming this morning's weakness.
