With a sharp sell off during the overnight session, July platinum has now fallen to a new weekly low. A lack of fresh US easing measures this week appears for some traders to be the main element driving platinum prices downward, but other traders feel that it is also likely that fresh concern over Spain will be another issue adding to the risk off environment for platinum prices. Today's US economic reports may not have the capacity to significantly alter today's negative market sentiment.
