To mark Mother’s Day 2016, Motorola is now offering the Moto X Pure Edition with a discount of $100. This deal is applicable all throughout this week until May 9.

The 16 GB storage variant of the Moto X handset is now available for $299.99, while the original price used to be $399.99. The 32 GB and 64 GB models are also on sale and the prices are $350 and $400, respectively. To top it off, buyers can make use of Moto Maker color scheme as well.

As far as the key specifications go, the Moto X Pure Edition comes with a 5.7-inch display, Quad HD resolution, Snapdragon 808 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. It sports a killer 21-megapixel rear-facing camera, dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. There is an extra LED flash mounted at the front for selfies.

T-Mobile, on the other hand, is now offering the recently released LG G5 and other handsets with a unique package deal for Mother's Day 2016. As per the deal, starting May 4, interested buyers can purchase any of the following LG smartphones LG G5, LG G4 or LG V10 at T-Mobile and receive a LG G pad F 8.0 tablet free of charge via prepaid card.

In addition, T-Mobile will be offering a rebate of 50 percent on another LG handset, upon adding a line. To simplify this deal, during the Mother’s Day week, buyers can purchase a new LG smartphone from T-Mobile and get another LG handset with 50 percent off and a brand new LG tablet free of cost.

Moving on to key configurations, the LG G5 comes with a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display, 1,440 x 2,560 pixels resolution, Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM onboard. This device carries a dual camera setup with 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors mounted at the back. There is also an 8-megapixel secondary shooter for selfies at the front. A modest Li-Ion 2,800 mAh removable battery unit helps keep the lights on.
