Moto G is one of the most well-received budget handsets of its generation. Hence, the expectations surrounding its successor, the Moto G 2015, is quite high, with leaked information piling up in abundance. Such is the case with the upcoming Moto X 2015, which caters to the flagship-preferring customers. Now, a new report from Chile gives more information about the upcoming handsets.

Moto G 2015

According to a new report citing Entel, which is Chile's largest carrier, two Motorola devices are being lined up for release. As expected, the first one is the Moto G 2015, also referred as the third-generation Moto G. It is worth noting that this device was already spotted multiple times in the form of live photos and a video. Therefore, the specifications are already known, however, this new leak corroborates those previously leaked configurations, notes GSM Arena.

Speaking of design, the Moto G 2015 is reportedly identical to the exterior look of the current-generation Moto device. Plus, the same 5.0-inch display size has apparently been maintained in the upcoming handset, along with 720p screen resolution. Under the hood, the device is believed to be powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 410) processor, running at 1.4 GHz. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a modest 1 GB of RAM.

When it comes to memory specification, the Moto G 2015 will reportedly come equipped with 8 GB of built-in storage capacity. But then, there is a microSD card slot for further expansion. Furthermore, the handset will apparently flaunt a 13 MP rear-facing camera unit with dual-LED flash onboard, in addition to a 5 MP front-facing shooter unit for selfies and video chats. Meanwhile, GSM Arena says the other variants of the upcoming Moto device include a dual-SIM model and versions with different memory configurations to suit the budget.

Moto X 2015 / Moto X Sport

The Moto X 2015 is internally being referred to as Moto X Sport. The device reportedly looks rather rugged when compared to its smooth successor. As far as the rumored Moto X specifications go, the handset will include a 5.2-inch display. Other key features include a 16-MP rear-facing camera, a generous 5-MP secondary camera and an unspecified quad-core processor. Speaking of the release date, both Moto X 2015 and Moto G 2015 will reportedly be unveiled in August. However, readers should note that the Moto X 2015 and Moto G 2015 specifications have not been confirmed by Motorola yet.
