Motorola is rumored to be working on three new smartphones with model numbers XT1578, XT1585 and XT192A. Speculations are rife that one of these devices is going to be presented at Moto X 2015.

According to Phone Arena, there is no official confirmation from Motorola on the rumored model numbers. The Phone Arena report states that a Reddit user had come across the details on the forthcoming Motorola handsets in an “analytics system."

All the three as-yet unannounced Motorola smartphones were spotted with Quad HD resolutions of 2368 x 1440 or 2392 x 1440 pixels, reports Droid Life. These screen resolutions are slightly lower than the usual Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The probable reason behind it could be that the app that has recorded resolution of these devices is not accounting for the pixels that cover display areas like the on-screen navigation keys and the notifications areas.

The other tech specs details of these handsets are not known yet. However, a Reddit user claims that these devices will be shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS onboard. He also adds that the Motorola XT1578, XT1585 and XT192A devices are heading to Verizon Wireless.

Phone Arena states that the XT1578 model number was also found listed in the HTML5Test database, something that supports the perception that the information revealed by the Reddit user is genuine. The unreleased handsets are undergoing testing in the Chicago area. Motorola Mobility, which was acquired by Lenovo, is headquartered at Chicago.
