Muhammad Ali Alive And Well, Photo Of Boxing Champion Enjoying The Super Bowl Shared After Brother Says He Could Be Dead In Days [PHOTO]

Despite recent reports from his brother that the boxing legend was close to death, Muhammad Ali looked quite spry while watching the Super Bowl on Sunday.

A photo of the heavyweight champion enjoying the big game at his home in Phoenix was shared on Twitter late Sunday night.

Ali wore a purple team jersey while holding a Ravens helmet balloon, with a Ravens flag in the background. The former boxer also held up his fists and gave a grimace indicative of his heyday.

In addition to the photo, two of Ali’s daughters also dispelled rumors that their father is fatally ill.

"He's fine, in fact he was talking well this morning," May May Ali told the Associated Press in a telephone interview on Sunday. "These rumors pop up every once in a while but there's nothing to them."

Laila Ali captioned a photo of her father sitting in a chair, wearing a Ray Lewis T-shirt, “My dads health is normal! Here is a pic of him today! Thanks for all well wishes.”

It was earlier Sunday that Ali’s brother Rahman Ali, told the UK Sun that the champion boxer would likely not live for much longer.

“He's in a bad way. He's very sick,” Rahman Ali told the Sun. “It could be months, it could be days.”

In an Associated Press report picked up by ESPN, several sources said that Rahman has not seen his brother since last summer at the "Sports for Peace Gala" held in London, and that Rahman Ali has no contact with the family.

The former boxer had a health scare in 2011, when he was hospitalized after losing consciousness, days following the funeral of fellow boxing great Joe Frazier. He was reportedly treated for dehydration.

Ali, who has Parkinson's disease, celebrated his 71st birthday on Jan. 17.
