Two murderers jailed in an Orange County prison tied the knot June 27 inside a jail visiting area, after having apparently met in January when the future bride sent the future groom a letter.

20-year-old bride Marissa Star Bilotti married 26-year-old Iftekhar Murtaza after getting engaged in April.

After months of trying to get married, the couple received permission from officials to exchange vows inside the jail's visiting area. However, the couple was separated by a wall and had to communicate by phone.

The bride is accused of helping a former boyfriend shoot a man to his death in 2010, while the groom is guilty of abducting the father and sister of his ex, then beating to death and setting their bodies on fire in 2007.

Bilotti has a sentence of 32 year to life in prison, and Murtaza is on death row.
