News Corp Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch said on Wednesday that he is not interested in buying Twitter, the popular microblogging site.

Speaking on the sidelines of the annual Sun Valley media and technology conference, Murdoch also said he is not selling News Corp's online social network MySpace.

When News Corp bought MySpace in 2005, it was seen as an aggressive move by Murdoch into digital media, but the site has failed to deliver the results investors have hoped for.

MySpace's once-rapid user growth has slowed and it has been overtaken by Facebook, forcing several rounds of job cuts to reduce costs.
