As expected, the first day of MWC 2012 in Barcelona, Spain, started with a bang, demonstrating loads of high performance smartphones.

The day marked the inception of devices with new multimedia features making quad-core processor phones stealing the show.

Leading phone manufacturers like HTC, Samsung, Sony, Huawei and others came out with a slew of hitter range showcasing what is called the next generation superphones.
