Namibia's consumer inflation quickened to 3.5 percent year-on-year in January from 3.1 percent in December, the Central Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.

Monthly inflation was at 1.8 percent in January after prices fell 0.4 percent on a month-on-month basis in December, the statistics agency said in a statement.
