The upcoming DLC, titled “Road to Boruto,” for “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” is going to feature new characters and an all-new adventure mode, according to Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Nick O’Leary.

The Japanese arcade, mobile and home video game publisher attended New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2016, and O’Leary grabbed the chance to tease fans what they can expect to see in the DLC when it becomes available early next year.

O’Leary said that the “Road to Boruto” DLC will bring players to a new adventure mode and that players will get to see new characters in the game as well. O’Leary also revealed that players will spend a few hours to complete the additional content for “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," as per DualShockers.

Bandai Namco also grabbed the chance to showcase the “Road to Boruto's” gameplay at the Twitch stage. A Demo of the game is seen below showing a fight between Sasuke Uchiha and a “mysterious man.”

O’Leary clarified that the new DLC is going to feature the connection of the future of the anime series and the end of the game; thus, players can expect to see the ending of the anime series in the game.

“Road to Boruto” is the final expansion in the Ultimate Ninja series, as confirmed by Bandai Namco at Tokyo Game Show this past September.

"We’ve been developing the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series for 15 years since the first one," a representative for the publisher told Polygon at the time. "In total, the series has sold 15 million copies. Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has sold two million worldwide. This one is going to be the last one in the series, so we’ve poured all our efforts into it."

“Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” DLC “Road to Boruto” is slated for release on Feb. 3, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
