NASA’s television program, showing how the space agency makes contributions to everyday life, has been downloaded more than one million times.

NASA’s 30-minute TV program NASA 360 has been downloaded more than one million times in less than a year, the U.S. agency said on Friday.

The program, which launched in September of 2008 on the nasa.gov web site, also airs on more than 450 television stations across the U.S., according to the agency.

As of today, the program had been downloaded 1,074,088 times.

“This accomplishment is truly remarkable in less than one year,” said Michael Finneran the executive producer for the program.
