The Nasdaq turned positive and the Dow and S&P 500 pared losses on Thursday as big-cap technology shares rose, offsetting worries about money tightening in China.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 2.42 points, or 0.02 percent, at 10,564.91. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> slipped 1.13 points, or 0.10 percent, at 1,144.48. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> added 0.30 points, or 0.01 percent, at 2,359.25.
