UPDATE 3 p.m. EDT: The lockdown has been lifted at the schools, although police are still searching for the suspect, according to Fox 17.

Two Tennessee schools are under lockdown as police investigate a report of a suicidal person, Nashville television station WSMV reported Monday afternoon.

The schools – Bass School and Cockrill Elementary – in west Nashville are near each other. They went under lockdown because police are searching for a suicidal person in the area, according to WSMV. No further details were available.
