“Nashville” Season 3 is getting closer to Rayna (Connie Britton) and Luke’s (Will Chase) wedding, but they’re going to have overcome more obstacles if they’re going to make it down the aisle. Deacon’s (Charles Esten) history with Rayna isn’t their only problem. According to the Season 3, episode 10 synopsis, they’re going to have to work on co-parenting before they can get hitched.

Luke will wrap his tour and return home, but it doesn’t sound like his return will be smooth. Rayna and Luke are planning to squeeze their wedding into the few days they have off before they do their honeymoon tour. However, Rayna will start to question her decision to go out on tour again so soon because she doesn’t want to leave the kids behind, “especially after she discovers that Luke has been making parenting decisions without her,” the synopsis teases.

They aren’t the only couple going on the road. Will (Chris Carmack) invites Layla (Aubrey Peebles) to go on tour with him. Will is concerned about how they appear to the public. He needs them to look like a real married couple so he can stay in the closet, but Layla’s affair with Jeff (Oliver Hudson) might ruin that. According to the synopsis, Will “begins to feel like he’s losing control of their situation” when he sees them flirting in public.

Teddy (Eric Close) will be getting himself into trouble as well. He “uses his Mayoral powers to track down a recent flame.” The only recent flame Teddy seems to have is Natasha (Moniqua Plante), the prostitute that Jeff set him up with. Teddy knows that he should stay away from her for the sake of his career, but he might not be able to fight his feelings.

Despite the argument with his parents at the CMA Awards, Avery (Jonathan Jackson) will be talking to his mother again. He’ll even get some advice from her that will help him make “an unexpected decision.”

Deacon was left out of the synopsis, but he isn’t being left out of the drama in episode 10. In the promo video, it looks like Deacon might relapse.
